Discover the city from the water while connecting with amazing locals through delicious food, wine and music on this Lisbon sunset sailing tour!

Relaxed buffet style or sit-down dinner in a beautiful setting you choose! It’s an opportunity to learn about the history and Portuguese curiosities, to cruise and relax, all while eating and drinking local products from Portuguese cuisine and, eventually, discovering unique and rare Portuguese wines from small local producers while listening to Fado music.

Or boat trip casts off near Belém Tower, a privileged area to explore some of the most famous historical monuments from the calm of the Tagus River. It’s an opportunity to learn about history and Portuguese curiosities, to cruise and relax, all while eating and drinking off an exclusive menu.

We immerse ourselves in the old part of Lisbon, namely Terreiro do Paço and Alfama. Learn how Lisbon’s port and margins evolved along the centuries, see the old fish markets, the places where Romans produced a fish sauce called garum, and learn about the richness of the Tagus river and how it all shaped cultures, battles, empires, and the cosmopolitan Lisbon of today.

Along our way, the 7 hills of Lisbon will become clearer in a continuous silhouette against the sky: See Graça, Saint Jorge Castle and some of the best lookout points that this city has to offer, like the miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara and Adamastor.

With Lisbon as a backdrop and a welcoming cocktail in your hand we begin to explore Portuguese cuisine and wine.

Our Lisbon sailboat tour then changes direction, and you’ll be amazed by the diversity of the landscape. On the opposite margin, you can see the old stores where Port wine and dried codfish were kept, the Cristo Rei statue, plus lots of street art and secret restaurants to make plans for.

While eating, drinking and learning about Portuguese food, we slowly approach Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery and Padrão dos Descobrimentos Monument, an area devoted to 15th-century Portuguese sailors and known for its peculiar architectural features.

To spicy our experience we can have a performance of three Portuguese musicians, exploring the landscape of Fado Portuguese music, its roots, and contemporary declinations after the meal.

For this experience we can also have (extra budget) a wine tasting room, along all trip, with unique and rare Portuguese Wines, from organic and biodynamic small production presented by two enthusiastic wine experts!

This experience will stay with me as one of the unforgettable memories of Lisbon and Portugal. Zara and her team did everything to make us feel special. Every detail has been thought out. We enjoyed the sunset and the amazing views of the city. Our host Zara told us about the history of the city. The Chefs prepared incredible appetizers, diner and dessert for us. We chatted a lot, discussed the cuisine of Portugal, and got the best recommendations on questions we had."

"My son and his wife surprised us by booking an Oh My Cod Tour on the Tagus River on the last day of a perfect weekend in Lisbon. The tour surpassed our expectations and was absolutely brilliant. We were met by the lovely Marina who guided us to this beautiful yacht where we were welcomed aboard by jovial skipper and owner Miguel. We were introduced to Natasha who was going to prepare us a typical Portuguese lunch with wine which was absolutely delicious. Marina, who was our very knowledgeable guide, spoke perfect English and pointed out interesting facts about the landmarks and areas we sailed past. We were able to relax on any part of the deck and as it was a beautiful day weather-wise we couldn't have had a better time. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon and it was a perfect ending to a great weekend ."

"We have never been to Portugal before, and went on this tour on our second evening after arriving - it is a great way to set the tone for time exploring Lisbon! Our hosts were all friendly and fun. They gave us space to relax and mingle with the other guests but were also attentive to our questions and made sure to give us lots of interesting information about the landmarks that we were passing. The boat is beautiful and very clean and comfortable! We discovered that many of the monuments and buildings along the river are best observed close-up from the river vantage point (rather than from the street or opposite bank). The dishes were not only well-executed, but the use of ingredients was also quite clever! The food was fresh and beautifully presented and the recipes were chosen for regional and historical significance and explained to us. Thank you so much!"

"We had a great experience with Sylvia seeing Lisbon from the water. The meeting place is an easy scoot from the centre of Lisbon, and Sylvia is a very knowledgeable, passionate and engaging host. There is a good balance of relaxing time and story telling. The food and the wine was really interesting and different and very tasty. I would recommend this tour to any big group!"
