Our boat trip begins near Belém Tower, offering a privileged view of Lisbon’s famous historical monuments from the calm of the Tagus River. As we navigate past the older parts of Lisbon, including Terreiro do Paço (Commerce Square) and Alfama, you’ll immerse yourself in Lisbon’s rich history, from the ancient fish markets and Roman fish sauce (garum) production sites to the bustling cosmopolitan city it is today.
See the seven hills of Lisbon, including Graça, Saint Jorge Castle, and iconic lookout points like São Pedro de Alcântara and Adamastor.
With Lisbon as your backdrop and a welcome cocktail in hand, you’ll get to explore Portuguese cuisine and wine.
Our sailboat tour then changes direction, revealing diverse landscapes. On the opposite margin, discover old warehouses for Port wine and dried codfish, the Christ The Redeemer Statue, vibrant street art, and secret restaurants to add to your itinerary.
While eating, drinking and learning about Portuguese food, we’ll approach Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, and the Monument to the Discoveries. You’ll get immersed into the history of 15th-century Portuguese explorers and admire unique architectural features.
To enhance your experience, we offer an optional Fado performance by three Portuguese musicians, showcasing the roots and contemporary expressions of this traditional music.

Depending on where the boat is anchored, we may meet at Doca dos Espanhol or Doca de Belém, both approximately 15 minutes from the historical center of Lisbon by car. Detailed directions will be provided after booking.
Fado is a music genre that originated in Lisbon in the 1820s. It features mournful tunes and lyrics about the sea or the lives of the poor, infused with a sense of resignation, fate, and melancholia. Fado is performed by a singer accompanied by one or two guitar players, one of which is a Portuguese guitar with twelve steel strings.
